Every four years, the design of the diploma exhibition at ZHdK is refreshed. This year, we participated in the pitch competition. Our design celebrates the interconnection of the various programs at ZHdK, emphasizing the interdisciplinary approach that weaves together different fields of study to create a comprehensive arts education. Additionally, we created a corresponding typeface using our grid, which can adapt to various formats, ensuring a flexible design.

Eleonora BonorvaMOLOKO OPENING
For the grand opening of the new coffee club, named Moloko Bar, at the Music School in Luzern Kriens, we had the privilege of crafting motingraphics that were intricately woven with audio-reactive elements to synchronize seamlessly with the beats of DJs Dinodino and 50g Vanessa. These bespoke visuals served as the foundational elements for the VJing experience during the inaugural night, elevating the atmosphere with a dynamic interplay of design and music.

Stress is an individually experienced emotion that cannot and should not be eradicated by a product. This represents a segment of our project that delves into the theme of resilience — the ability to cope with stress — and the coping mechanisms utilized by many individuals. This aspect of our work aims to stimulate a conversation that questions the commercialization and commodification of emotions.

The event Every Night Your Night of Estée Lauder was all about creating an immersive experience around their product: Advanced Night Repair. We were invited to create a fitting concept around their event and product. Our installation is an immersive experience that will transport the visitor to an enchanting, star-studded world. Through the use of a glowing amber Moon as the centerpiece we created an atmosphere of empowerment, symbolizing the light and strength of women. Surrounding the moon, reflections of stars and other visuals were projected, changing throughout the night to create an ever-changing atmosphere. Additionally, we showcased the product on the wall, mapping our visuals around it.

What gives us space? Do we shape it? Or does it shape us? Do we adapt to it or do we develop it? Cutout is what space provides and what it guides us towards. In an interactive experience people can walk through a staircase and experience 3D objects inspired from the architecture. The staircase is usually used as a transfer, but with it was giving a new meaning by placing 3D objects into the digital space. Our AR experience through this staircase offered space to play. There was an attempt to move the objects around, to place them differently and to shape them themselves. People bent themselves to experience the space, corners and edges were made visible. Suddenly you adapted to the space and through the virtual experience you could discover something new.

The installation is an exploration of a non food dining experience through tactile, olfactory and visual sensations. The project developed out of the exploration of the pica syndrome (attraction to non-edible objects). Based on this theme, a speculative, utopian-dystopian experience developed, which is set in a context of a future society. At the center is a device that is inserted into the mouth. Through the sound propagation of the jawbone, it is possible to hear through the mouth. The created sound represents the eating of the fictitious meals and gives the participant the feeling of being able to eat the food him-/herself. To make the experience more immersive, the dishes are accompanied not only by images and sound but also by smells, which are also mixed to match the dishes.
